Job summary

Black Forest Labs, the team behind Latent Diffusion, Stable Diffusion and FLUX, is hiring a product engineering leader to own the end‑to‑end developer experience. You’ll shape the API, SDKs, dashboards, and onboarding surfaces so external developers and agents can build on FLUX with speed and confidence.

You’ll collaborate with API/platform engineering, research and DevRel, balancing speed and quality, and setting designs that rival Stripe in clarity and usability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building software with developer-facing products (SDKs, APIs, dashboards)
• Full-stack experience: TypeScript/React/Next on front-end; Python on back-end (Go or Rust a plus)
• Strong opinions on API design, pagination, error formats, and breaking changes

Responsibilities

• Own DevExp as a product surface across APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and onboarding surfaces.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on API design before release.
• Shape developer-facing surfaces of the dashboard (API keys, usage, debugging tools) and agent-onboarding flows.
• Ensure the platform is the best visual AI platform for agents to use, with strong UX and retryable errors and audit trails.
