Job summary
Bloom & Wild Group is seeking a Head of Developer Experience to lead the team responsible for the paved road and internal developer platform. This is a high-leverage role shaping platform strategy, AI-native transformation, and team growth across the tech org.
You will balance roadmap ownership, cross‑squad collaboration and cost management while partnering with DevSecOps and senior leadership to drive reliable, scalable engineering across AWS and GCP.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience leading a platform, DevEx or infrastructure team.
- Strong AWS knowledge (ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, Lambda, EventBridge/SNS/SQS) and Terraform experience.
- Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud and Cloudflare.
- AI tooling experience to translate ideas into a data-driven roadmap for leadership.
- Proven track record of growing engineers and coaching managers.
Responsibilities
- Own our internal developer platform as a product, enabling engineers to move fast and safely.
- Lead the DevEx AI roadmap and align AI initiatives with business goals.
- Line-manage DevEx engineers and mentor managers across Platform and Quality teams.
- Partner with DevSecOps and manage infra costs across AWS, GCP and tooling vendors.
