Job summary

Sungrow Europe seeks a Lead Developer to architect a centralized web-based dashboard consolidating LTSA- contracted ESS sites into a single internal platform. You will design scalable architecture, define data ingestion, and implement contract logic with alerting for service teams.

You will integrate SCADA telemetry, EMS data, and ticketing to provide root-cause visibility while ensuring EU data protection and RBAC compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with SPA frontends (React/Angular/Vue).
• Backend development with REST APIs and SQL/time-series DBs.
• Integration experience with SCADA/IoT platforms and ticketing tools.

Your mission

Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. is a global leader in renewable energy power conversion systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and PV inverters. Within the ESS division, Sungrow operates multiple Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) across Europe and globally, guaranteeing high availability levels for utility-scale battery storage projects.
To ensure compliance with contractual availability KPIs and optimize service performance, Sungrow is developing a centralized internal monitoring dashboard integrating customer EMS data via the SungrowInsight Portal
We seek a Lead Developer to design, architect, and build a centralized web-based monitoring platform consolidating all LTSA-contracted ESS sites into one internal dashboard. The platform will:

• Aggregate availability data from Sungrow Insight
• Reflect site-specific LTSA availability guarantees
• Compare real-time data against contractual KPIs
• Integrate ticketing for full operational visibility
• Deliver actionable, contract-aware insights to service teams

Your profile

Architecture & System Design
Design scalable architecture for the ESS availability dashboard
Define data ingestion from: Customer EMS (via Insight Portal), SCADA telemetry, ticketing system API
Establish normalization for varying LTSA formulas, site-specific definitions, exclusions, and penalty logic
Availability Logic & Contract Modeling
Build configurable contract logic engine supporting 17–25 year LTSAs
Calculate availability per site, BESS unit, block
Handle thresholds, exclusions
Implement dynamic KPI comparisons (actual vs. guaranteed, rolling monthly/yearly) and early-warning alerts
Dashboard & UX Development
Create single-page web portal with:
Global overview
Drill-down: site → battery unit → inverter → DC block
Real-time availability %
Visual LD-risk warnings
Deliver intuitive UX for remote engineers, NOC, service managers, and LTSA contract managers
Ticketing System Integration
Integrate ticketing API to show open/in-progress/resolved tickets per battery unit
Link availability drops to active tickets
Allow root-cause visibility without leaving the dashboard
Data Compliance & Cybersecurity
Comply with EU data protection, customer cybersecurity rules, and Sungrow policies
Implement RBAC, audit logs, secure APIs, and regional/customer data segregation
Reporting & Automation
Automate availability reporting and monthly LTSA compliance exports
Set up early-warning notifications for penalty thresholds, telemetry issues, or data instability
Required Qualifications
Technical

• 5+ years full-stack web development
• Strong experience in: React/Angular/Vue (SPA frontend); Node.js/Python/.NET/Go (backend); REST APIs; SQL/time-series DBs
• Integration experience: SCADA/industrial telemetry, IoT/energy platforms, ticketing (ServiceNow/Jira/Zendesk etc.)
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS, cybersecurity best practices, RBAC
• Utility-scale BESS, PV plants, SCADA, EMS platforms
• Availability calculations (technical/contractual), SLA/LTSA structures, performance guarantees, LD frameworks
• Strong ownership
• Ability to translate contracts into logic
• Structured, detail-oriented
• Coordination with ESS engineering, remote monitoring, HQ IT, contract management

• MVP dashboard covering 20–30 LTSA sites
• Deployed contract logic engine
• Live ticketing integration
• Operational automated availability reporting
