Job summary

The Conversion Club is recruiting a hands-on E-commerce CRO Specialist (freelance) to own the testing strategy for D2C brands on Shopify. You will analyze session recordings, heatmaps and analytics, turning insights into high-impact test ideas and clear hypotheses.

You will lead backlogs and monthly roadmaps with rigorous justification, collaborating directly with clients. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CRO, strong statistics, and proven Shopify experience, plus familiarity with

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CRO or experimentation in ecommerce.
• Shopify experience is a must.
• Strong research skills: recordings, heatmaps, analytics, and conversion-focused insights.
• Solid statistics: sample sizes, significance, revenue per visitor, segments.
• Experience with GA4, Clarity or Hotjar, and A/B testing tools is a plus.
• EU-based, fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research stores using session recordings, heatmaps, analytics, funnels, surveys and reviews.
• Identify where revenue leaks occur and why.
• Turn findings into clear hypotheses and high-impact test ideas.
• Present hypotheses for refinement with the client before testing.
• Build and prioritize backlogs and monthly test roadmaps with supporting analysis.
• Read test results accurately to determine genuine winners.
