Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is seeking a Lead Contract Manager for a major offshore wind project in The Netherlands. The ideal candidate will support contract-related activities, negotiate and manage project contracts including BIMCO charter parties, and provide commercial and contractual advice to various teams.

Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Engineering, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract management, ideally within offshore wind or major infrastructure projects.

Lead Contract Manager for a major offshore wind project in The Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Contract Manager in all contract‑related activities across two major offshore wind projects.
• Negotiate, administer and manage project contracts, including BIMCO charter parties (Windtime, SupplyTime), subcontract agreements, and performance monitoring.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to project management, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Assist with drafting, negotiating, and managing change orders, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity assessments and maintain accurate contract documentation.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and external contractors/suppliers to ensure compliance and alignment with project requirements.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and quantity tracking processes where relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering (or comparable experience).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant and proven experience as a Contract Manager, ideally within offshore wind, marine contracting, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with BIMCO contracts, particularly Windtime and SupplyTime.
