Job summary

Janssen Biologics B.V. in Leiden seeks a Manager AVA/Mycoplasma Quality Control to lead the AVA/Mycoplasma QC team within the Quality department. Require viral and microbiological testing expertise and strong people management.

You will report to the QC Director Biotherapeutics, collaborate with Analytical Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, and drive data integrity and compliant operations. The base pay range is €68,600 to €119,600 per year, with a bonus program and comprehensive

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in virology, microbiology, life sciences, biotechnology or equivalent.
5–10 years in viral and microbiological method development/validation.
Leading a med sized group (5–10 direct reports).
Quality Control in pharmaceutical industry with marketed products.
Strong knowledge of pharm regulatory/cGMP principles (FDA, EU).
Experience with Process Excellence and data integrity.

Responsibilities

On time delivery of AVA/myco release and stability testing results.
Ensure safety, quality systems and cGMP compliance.
Set department goals and KPIs for excellent performance.
Maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance across tests.
Lead Supervisors and specialists, provide guidance and development.
Audit readiness and collaboration with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and stakeholders.
