Job summary
Trinamics is recruiting a Machine / Industrial Automation Engineer for an Eindhoven region client to design and implement control and automation for advanced mechatronic systems. You will bridge mechatronics and software using model-based engineering and lead engineering activities in a cross-disciplinary setting.
Required MBSE experience, strong MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow knowledge, and proficiency with Python scripting are essential, along with a track record in senior engineering roles within
Qualifications
- MBSE experience and ability to translate concepts into validated implementations.
- Experience in lead/ senior engineering roles in high-tech environments.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing control and automation logic for complex mechatronic systems.
- Developing sequencing, scheduling and state-based models for machine behaviour.
- Coordinating autonomous subsystems and safeguarding system-wide operation.
- Analyzing network behaviour, communication flows and timing constraints.
- Implementing damage control, fault handling and safe recovery strategies.
- Designing mode switching for hybrid systems with multiple operating states.
- Calibrating, monitoring performance and diagnostics concepts.
- Building dynamic and simulation models using model-based engineering.
- Leading cross-disciplinary teams translating complex system behaviour into scalable solutions.
