Job summary

Trinamics is assisting a development and engineering organization in the Eindhoven region to recruit a Control Systems Integrator. You will lead detailed design and integration of control systems for high-tech applications, working with system architects, software engineers and mechatronics teams.

You will design and implement controllers, integrate real-time controllers, calibrate machines, analyze performance, build tools for simulation and HIL setups, and serve as the technical reference

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of lead-engineering or senior engineering experience.
• Proven experience with real-time controller integration, controller design, machine calibration and controller tuning.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, or LabVIEW.
• Experience in high-tech environments such as semiconductors, robotics, positioning stages or laser-based communication modules.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design and integration of control systems for high-tech applications.
• Design and implement controllers including SW/FW interfaces on platforms like Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Integrate, configure and troubleshoot real-time controllers.
• Calibrate machines and tune controllers for optimal performance.
• Analyze system behavior and propose improvements based on test results.
• Build tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics and visualization.
• Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation setups.
• Act as the technical reference within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
