Job Overview

As Laundry & Wardrobe Supervisor, you are a vital part of Rosewood Amsterdam’s commitment to elegance and comfort. In this role, you’ll supervise laundry operations, control inventory, and manage an expert team to keep every area pristine. Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations:

• Uphold Rosewood’s meticulous standards for laundry and valet services.
• Oversee and coordinate linen, uniform, and supply flow, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor key areas, including linen rooms, uniform rooms, and loading docks, maintaining a high standard throughout.

Equipment and Inventory:

• Manage and maintain laundry equipment to ensure smooth, safe operation.
• Take charge of laundry tasks such as washing, ironing, and embroidery, all while managing inventory levels with precision.
• Issue and control linens, uniforms, and supplies to keep our operations running seamlessly.

Team Leadership:

• Inspire and lead a talented team through effective scheduling, training, and development.
• Create an encouraging, high-energy environment that aligns with Rosewood’s commitment to hospitality excellence.

Guest and Staff Interaction:

• Address guest and team member needs promptly, ensuring everyone feels cared for and valued.
• Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere that reinforces the Rosewood standard of luxury service.

Problem Solving and Adaptability:

• Tackle diverse tasks and challenges with a creative, proactive mindset.
• Keep work areas clean and safe, ensuring operations meet the highest quality.

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and passion for luxury service.
• Sewing skills.
• Have a sense of elegance to advise associates on how to wear their uniform best.
• Minimum of two to three years of experience in Housekeeping or a related department.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) and capable of performing various physical tasks.
• Self-motivated with the ability to inspire teamwork and uphold Rosewood’s prestigious standards.
