Job summary

Basic Pharma, a dynamic Dutch pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform analytical work on raw materials, intermediates and finished products in a GMP environment in the Netherlands.

You will validate methods, document results, maintain training records, handle samples, and support daily lab tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role offers growth in a rapidly developing company with a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HLO or MSc in pharmaceutical/analytical field with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in GMP laboratory environments is required.
• Strong documentation and data recording skills are essential.
• Familiar with analytical techniques (HPLC, FT-IR, UV-Vis) preferred.
• Proactive, accurate, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical work on raw materials, intermediates and finished products according to protocol.
• Execute analytical method validation under supervision and write reports.
• Maintain training records for equipment, methods and documents.
• Operate analytical equipment independently and retrieve data for reporting.
• Prepare samples for analysis and dispatch to external services when needed.
• Keep laboratories tidy and ensure safety procedures and MSDS are followed.
