Job summary

Vertage is seeking a hands-on Learning & Development Specialist to own the Netherlands local delivery of global L&D programmes. You will lead onboarding, deliver engaging workshops, and adapt content for local language and legal needs while staying connected to the global L&D community.

You will collaborate with the People Team to integrate L&D with onboarding and talent development, building scalable learning foundations for the Netherlands as Vertage grows.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or related field.
• Fluent Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• A professional qualification in L&D, Adult Learning or related discipline, or actively working towards one.
• Strong learning design and facilitation skills for high-quality sessions.
• Experience as a face-to-face facilitator, especially onboarding/induction.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
• Structured, proactive approach to managing multiple programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver global L&D programmes across the Netherlands with consistent quality.
• Facilitate engaging face-to-face and virtual workshops for employees and leaders.
• Own and deliver onboarding/induction for new starters in the Netherlands.
• Adapt global content for language, regional, or legal needs while preserving core quality.
• Build relationships with employees, managers, and leaders across the Netherlands.
• Coordinate with People Team and global L&D colleagues to connect local and global initiatives.
• Contribute to scalable, region-specific learning foundations and resources.
