Job summary

EW Facility Services is recruiting for a Kitchen Steward/Service Assistant at Holland Casino Amsterdam West, near Sloterdijk. You will help keep the kitchen and service areas clean and ready for use, with 25–30 hours per week and shifts including evenings and nights. This role is physically active and requires reliability and a can-do attitude.

Experience is a plus, but not required. You must be 18+, provide a paid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and be willing to undergo internal screening by

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organised
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and equipment
• Moving and organising kitchen supplies and materials
• Supporting the team with other cleaning and service tasks when needed

Job description

We offer

• Gross hourly wage between €15.52 and €17.05 (from age 20, depending on experience)
• 50% extra pay for working weekends and/or public holidays
• 30% extra pay for weekday evening and night hours after 21:30
• Free parking at the location
• A contract of 7 months with intention to extend.
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel 20 km or more per day
• 8% holiday allowance, 10% holiday hours accrual and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment and an extra day off on your birthday

Your job

Holland Casino Amsterdam West is a lively location near Sloterdijk, where everything needs to run smoothly behind the scenes.

As a Kitchen Steward / Service Assistant, you help keep the kitchen and service areas clean, organised and ready for use.

Your daily tasks include:

• Washing dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organised
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and equipment
• Moving and organising kitchen supplies and materials
• Supporting the team with other cleaning and service tasks when needed

This is a physically demanding job. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, moving around, carrying items and working at a steady pace. If you enjoy active work, this could be a great match!

Working hours

You work 25-30 hours per week, with different shifts:

• 13:30-22:00
• 20:00-00:00
• 22:00-05:00

The location operates seven days a week, so you need to be flexible and available for evening, night and weekend shifts.

You are
