Job summary

Park Plaza Utrecht is seeking a Waiter(ess) to join our Food & Beverage team in one of the city's premier hotels near Utrecht Central Station. This part-time role (~15.20 hours per week) is ideal for students or hospitality professionals seeking flexible hours.

You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, keep tables and bar areas clean, and assist with conferences and events while delivering warm, professional service in line with our brand standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a warm, friendly, and professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks in line with brand and service standards.
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant and bar areas.
• Handle guest requests and resolve queries professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support conferences, events, and other Food & Beverage activities when required.

Essential Requirements

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, bar, or other hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role.
• Dutch or additional language skills are an advantage.
