Job summary

Stadion Uitzenden is hiring a Kitchen Employee to work in a professional production environment handling fresh ingredients daily for hospitals and organizations. You will read recipes, weigh, mix, cook, and ensure hygiene and quality standards while collaborating with colleagues from other departments.

The role runs on a fixed schedule from 06:00 to 15:00, Monday to Saturday (five days), with one weekday off, and includes benefits such as work clothing, PPE, travel reimbursement, 25 vacation

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef, butcher, or baker is an advantage.

About the client

Our client specializes in the purchasing, storage, and distribution of fresh food products. Every day, they supply high-quality products such as vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, dairy products, and dry grocery items to hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other professional customers. Quality, freshness, and reliability are always their top priorities.

What will you do?

As a Kitchen Employee, you will work in a professional production environment where you will handle fresh ingredients every day. You ensure that products are prepared and processed according to recipes, with quality and hygiene always being top priorities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Reading and following recipes;
• Weighing and preparing ingredients;
• Mixing and processing products;
• Grinding ingredients;
• Cooking and preparing products;
• Keeping the workplace and equipment clean;
• Working together and coordinating with colleagues from other departments.

Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the production process runs efficiently and that the products meet the highest quality standards.

Working hours:

• You will work according to a fixed schedule;
• Monday to Saturday (5 working days per week);
• Working hours: 06:00 - 15:00;
• Saturday is a fixed working day. In return, you will have one weekday off (Monday to Friday).

Experience and qualifications

• Experience as a chef, butcher, or baker is an advantage;
• Motivated and eager to learn;
• Reliable and accurate;
• You speak Dutch or English.

Salary and benefits

• Salary for the Kitchen Employee position: from €16.00 gross per hour, depending on experience;
• Travel expenses: From 10 km one-way, €0.21 per km is reimbursed, calculated from the first kilometre, up to a maximum of 20 km one-way.
• Work clothing, safety shoes and PPE are provided.
• If performance is satisfactory, there is an opportunity to be hired directly by the employer after 1,040 hours worked.
