Job summary

Vintage.com in Duiven, Netherlands, is seeking a Junior Appraiser to join our Appraisals team. You’ll learn to assess and value a wide range of vintage items, from jewellery to cameras, through our Training Academy.

This full‑time role focuses on accuracy, careful handling of customer boxes, and building knowledge across categories. Training, mentorship from the Team Leader, and opportunities to progress to higher volumes are provided.

Qualifications

• No specific qualifications required.
• Structured training through our Training Academy.
• Willingness to learn across categories: jewellery, watches, medals, toys, cameras, collectables.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to move customer boxes safely.

Responsibilities

• Assess and value customer items carefully, accurately and fairly.
• Record clear, consistent appraisal decisions.
• Make independent decisions as knowledge grows, with specialist input when needed.
• Support transparent offers through careful judgement and detail.
• Complete data entry accurately in appraisal systems.
• Meet volume, quality and acceptance-rate targets without compromising care.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, specialists, and Operations to improve workflows.
