This role is open in The Netherlands (hybrid, Zoetermeer office half of the week).
We are looking for a Junior Technical Operations Engineer to join the Medido R&D Support team. In this role, you will serve as the highest technical escalation point for our products and platform, acting as an elite technical detective to ensure our service remains incredibly reliable. This role isn't about running a standard helpdesk; it's about deep-dive problem-solving across an entire ecosystem. You will analyze how our physical dispenser hardware, embedded firmware, cloud platform, and pharmacy packaging workflows (pouch configurations) interact. Working directly within our R&D ecosystem, you will bridge the gap between Customer Care, Firmware/Cloud Developers, and external partners. This is a fantastic starter position for a technical graduate, designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of a complex MedTech infrastructure with clear progression pathways into R&D, advanced operations, or quality engineering.
Your responsibilities include:
A highly analytical, meticulous problem-solver who can handle ambiguity and loves to connect the dots between hardware, software, and real-world data. You take strong ownership of issues and communicate your findings clearly and calmly.
A recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO) in a technical field like Computer Science, ICT, Mechatronics, or General Engineering.
A strong interest in full-stack diagnostics. Basic experience or familiarity with SQL, analyzing logs, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is highly beneficial.
Meticulous in validation and documentation. An interest or background in regulated environments (such as Healthcare IT, medical devices, or fintech) is a strong advantage.
Fully proficient in written and verbal English, with the ability to translate complex technical anomalies into clear recommendations for development teams (C1 level). Speaking Dutch is a strong plus.
