Job summary

deephealth is hiring a Junior Software engineer to build and maintain software in the Clinical AI domain. The role focuses on integrating AI results with our Reporting and Viewer apps, including front-end modules for AI results, PDF reports, and backend integration.

You will work on features from design through production, ensuring quality under a regulated framework and contributing to technical specifications and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in computer science, biomedical engineering or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar or related role
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Agentic Coding tools like Claude and Cursor
• Accustomed to test-driven development and CI/CD (preferred)
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems (preferred)
• Experience in the MedTech field, e.g. DICOM data, AI algorithms, clinical workflows (preferred)
• Experience with docker, Django, React, and/or cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the software development process: design, refine and develop new features and maintain existing ones; write code and perform code reviews; contribute to testing framework
• Own features through the entire development cycle up to production; understand radiologist workflow to flag risks and bugs
• Maintain and observe Quality & Regulatory requirements; contribute to technical documentation and risk analysis
• Collaborate with the team to make strategic recommendations and improvements to technology and business
