Zusammenfassung

VectorY Therapeutics in Amsterdam Science Park is seeking a highly motivated Junior Scientist for the Discovery team. In this hands-on role you will develop and perform in vitro screening and validation assays using neuronal models to advance therapeutic discovery programs.

You will work on neuronal cell culture, imaging-based assays and molecular biology techniques, collaborating with experts across neuroscience, cell biology, and AAV biology.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Experience with aseptic neuronal cell culture.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience with human iPSC-derived neuronal cultures preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNS biology and disease mechanisms.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate research projects to develop in vitro models of neurodegenerative disorders.
• Design and execute experiments for disease-relevant cellular models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across VectorY departments.
• Document work in study plans and reports.
• Analyze and present experimental data clearly.
• Maintain collaborations with CROs or academic partners.
