Job summary

Elastic, the Search Analytics company, seeks a Jnr Public Sector Account Exec to own a greenfield Dutch public sector territory focused on municipalities, healthcare, education and research. You will open doors, build champions and convert use cases into projects, with emphasis on AI applications.

You will generate pipeline, manage end-to-end deals with MEDDPICC, and navigate procurements while expanding university and research accounts. Dutch and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B enterprise software sales or SDR capacity.
• Proven track record of new logo wins or outbound pipeline generation.
• Preference for experience in the Dutch public sector (government, healthcare, education).
• Experience selling solutions in search, observability, security, data or cloud.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; ability to write and sell in Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan for the Dutch public sector.
• Generate pipeline via outbound, events, partners and public sector networks.
• Run full-cycle deals with MEDDPICC methodology: economic buyer, champion, decision process, paper process.
• Navigate Dutch public procurement: tenders, Europese aanbesteding, framework agreements, partner routes.
• Expand existing customers, especially universities and research.
• Forecast accurately and maintain Salesforce data.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, partners and Elastic specialists to close technical wins.

What is The Role:

Elastic, the Search Analytics company, is seeking a Jnr Public Sector Account Exec. You’ll own a greenfield Dutch public sector territory: municipalities, healthcare, education and research. This is a hunter seat with loads of potential, Elastic has the momentum in this segment. You’ll open doors, build champions, and turn Search, Observability and Security use cases into new projects, with a main focus on applying AI.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build and run a territory plan that prioritizes where to hunt first, using account tiering and contact coverage.
• Generate your own pipeline through outbound, events, partners and public sector networks. Many accounts have no contacts yet, so you’ll build coverage from scratch.
• Run full-cycle deals with MEDDPICC discipline: economic buyer, champion, decision process, paper process.
• Navigate Dutch public procurement: tenders, Europese aanbesteding, framework agreements, and partner and reseller routes.
• Expand the existing customers, especially in universities and research.
• Forecast accurately and keep Salesforce clean.
• Work with Solutions Architects, partners and Elastic specialists to land technical wins.

What You Bring:

• We want to hire a sales talent, with <5 years of B2B enterprise software sales, with a proven new logo track record or proven SDR capacity
• A preference for Public sector experience in the Netherlands (government, healthcare or education). You understand procurement cycles and can build a deal around them.
• Experience selling technical solutions in search, observability, security, data or cloud.
• Fluent Dutch and English. You’ll write and sell in Dutch to Dutch-speaking buyers.
• Strong qualification habits. You know when to push, when to pivot, and when to walk away.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component.

At Elastic, our compensation philosophy aims to provide fair, competitive and transparent remuneration. Salary ranges are established based on a combination of external market benchmarks, internal pay equity considerations, and the responsibilities and complexity associated with each role. This approach helps ensure consistency across comparable roles while remaining competitive within the relevant labour markets.

The typical starting On-Target Earnings range (Base Salary + Variable) for this role is:

€95.900—€151.700 EUR
