Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Junior Project Manager for Airports Solutions to set up projects and monitor progress across international assignments. You will own delivery of Material Handling projects and coordinate the client, Vanderlande team, and subcontractors to achieve time, budget, quality, and safety goals.

You will work with multi-cultural teams, manage tight deadlines, and be responsible for realistic planning and stakeholder satisfaction, with opportunities for growth and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
• 0-5 years of relevant experience
• International experience is a plus
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Set up a project and monitor progress as per plan
• Own ultimate delivery of one or more Material Handling projects
• Act as link between client, Vanderlande and subcontractors
• Manage tight deadlines and complex projects under supervision where applicable

Your position

As Junior Project Manager Airports Solutions, it's your job to set up a project and keep an eye on howevery aspect of a project is progressing as per plan. You will have ultimate responsibility for the successfuldelivery of one or more Material Handling projects and form the link between the client, the team atVanderlande and subcontractors. We expect an autonomous and client-oriented approach. We also expect the ability to manage lesscomplex projects independently , worth up to 5 million or to be responsible for a part of a large complexproject (> € 50 million) under supervision of a Project Director. You will manage projects with tight deadlines and work in and with different cultures. You will deliverrealistic project plans and have the ability to implement them such that the achievement of all of the following relevant key factors is guaranteed: customer satisfaction, expectation management, time,budget, quality and safety. During the implementation phase you will have commercial responsibility, eventually resulting in asuccessful acceptance of your projects by the customer and the internal service organization.

The Vanderlande Customer Centre Airports Solutions EMEA is active in the EMEA region to design,deliver and service solutions for airports customers. As we are expecting growth, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager with the potential and ambition to further develop and professionalize in ProjectManagement.

Your profile

• Proactive with excellent Dutch and English communication skills
• 0-5 years of relevant experience
• Affinity with IT/OT software in automation projects is a plus

What we offer

This position offers a competitive salary depending on background and experience: Bachelor starter (no experience): €3.432 gross per month Master starter (no experience): €3.806 gross per month Experienced candidates: €4.500 - €5.900 gross per month
