Job summary

Vanderlande in Veghel, Netherlands, seeks a Junior Project Manager Airports to set up and monitor projects, delivering material handling solutions for clients across diverse cultures. You will be the link between the client, internal teams and subcontractors, driving on-time delivery and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Material Handling projects and liaise with client, team and subcontractors.
• Manage smaller projects independently and larger ones under supervision.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, time, budget, quality and safety targets.
• Take commercial responsibility during implementation and project acceptance.

Your position

As Junior Project Manager Airports Solutions, it's your job to set up a project and keep an eye on how every aspect of a project is progressing as per plan. You will have ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of one or more Material Handling projects and form the link between the client, the team at Vanderlande and subcontractors.

We expect an autonomous and client-oriented approach. We also expect the ability to manage less complex projects independently, worth up to 5 million or to be responsible for a part of a large complex project (> € 50 million) under supervision of a Project Director.

You will manage projects with tight deadlines and work in and with different cultures. You will deliver realistic project plans and have the ability to implement them such that the achievement of all of the following relevant key factors is guaranteed: customer satisfaction, expectation management, time, budget, quality and safety.

During the implementation phase you will have commercial responsibility, eventually resulting in a successful acceptance of your projects by the customer and the internal service organization.

The Vanderlande Customer Centre Airports Solutions EMEA is active in the EMEA region to design, deliver and service solutions for airports customers. As we are expecting growth, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager with the potential and ambition to further develop and professionalize in Project Management.

This position offers a competitive salary depending on background and experience:

• Bachelor starter (no experience): €3.432 gross per month
• Master starter (no experience): €3.806 gross per month
• Experienced candidates: €4.500 – €5.900 gross per month
