Job summary

Expertum is seeking a Junior Project Administrator to join our finance-driven team. You will own project administration and billing, ensuring correct setup of WBS structures, accurate time and cost registrations, and timely invoicing across Time & Material, Fixed Fee and Milestones.

You will work closely with finance, project management and operations to optimize cash flow, monitor WIP, and support continuous improvements in end-to-end project processes.

Qualifications

• Must have an MBO or HBO degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong interest in project administration, billing and financial processes.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage project administration, including WBS elements and project structures.
• Ensure correct allocation of costs and time registration, safeguarding data quality (billable vs non-billable).
• Monitor WIP and unbilled work, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Prepare and send invoices (Time & Material, Fixed Fee and Milestones).
• Manage accounts receivable and dunning processes, actively improving cash collection.
• Monitor project margins and time-to-bill, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Handle contract and PO registration and ensure billing readiness.
• Collaborate closely with finance, project management and operations to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
