Job summary

Holland Ship Electric zoekt een gemotiveerde PLC-Programmeer voor variërende projecten in de maritieme en offshore industrie. U ontwikkelt PLC-software, ontwerpt HMI-toepassingen en voert commissioning uit bij internationale klanten.

De functie vereist een achtergrond in elektrotechniek/industr automatisering en een geldige B-rijbewijs. Een servicegerichte instelling en goede communicatie zijn essentieel.

Qualifications

• MBO-4 opleiding elektrotechniek of industriële automatisering.
• Relevante ervaring is een pré, zeker in scheepsreparatie of offshore.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en representatieve houding richting klanten.

Responsibilities

• Ontwikkelen van PLC-software voor scheepsinstallaties, zelfstandig en in team.
• Vertalen van klantwensen naar concrete PLC-programma's.
• Ontwerpen van HMI-schermen en bedieningstoepassingen.
• Configureren en programmeren van frequentieregelers en servogeregelers.
• Ondersteunen van klanten en servicetechnici bij storingen.

Job description

Do you have experience with electrical installations in the maritime industry, or have you completed an MBO-4 education in electrical engineering? Are you ready for a new challenge within a growing organization that specializes in electrical engineering in the maritime and offshore sectors?

We are looking for a driven PLC Programmer to join an electrical installation company specializing in the shipping and offshore industries.

Function

As a PLC Programmer, you will work on a variety of projects within the maritime and offshore industries. Your work will include developing PLC software, designing HMI applications, configuring frequency converters and servo controllers, troubleshooting automation systems, and commissioning installations at international customer locations.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and supporting customers and service technicians in resolving technical issues.

The role offers a varied combination of troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, and preparatory work at the office.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop PLC software for ship installations, both independently and as part of a team.
• Translate customer requirements into concrete PLC software.
• Design and build software for HMI touchscreens.
• Design, configure, and write software for frequency converters and servo controllers.
• Help customers and service technicians resolve malfunctions.
• Carry out commissioning on-site at international customers.

Requirements

Do you have a background in electrical engineering or industrial automation and enjoy working on varied technical projects within the maritime industry?

Furthermore, you have:

• Completed an MBO-4 education in electrical engineering or industrial automation.
• A valid B driving license.
• Strong communication skills, as you will represent Holland Ship Electric when working with customers.

Its activities range from designing and maintaining electrical installations to installing navigation and security systems and commissioning electric motors and generators.

• A salary starting from €3500 gross/month and up to €4200 gross/month, based on your knowledge and experience.
• Training and courses, which can be discussed according to your needs and interests.
• A one-year contract upon starting, with the intention of offering permanent employment after the first year.
