Gomibo in Groningen is seeking a Platform Engineer to empower dozens of engineers by building and maintaining the platform that powers our services across Europe.

You’ll write production code, work with Kubernetes, infrastructure, and GitOps to improve the platform engineers rely on, not just the customer features.

Qualifications

• Experience building software in PHP or other OO languages.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and core concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, and deployment processes.
• Comfort with Git and the command line.
• Interest in deeper Kubernetes and infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain PHP applications that manage configuration and access.
• Develop self-service tooling to configure and operate applications.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes configuration and operators.
• Automate recurring infrastructure tasks and improve developer experience.
• Debug problems across application code and infrastructure.
• Review code and configuration and collaborate with engineers across teams.
