Fastned UK Limited seeks a Junior Office Manager to support our Amsterdam office and 200+ staff. You will help keep the office welcoming, manage kitchen and common areas, and assist with deliveries and mail. The role offers a friendly, flexible work culture in a fast-growing EV company.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Dutch, available four days a week, and comfortable handling practical tasks independently while maintaining organisation and cleanliness.

To accelerate this growth, we are looking for an Junior Office Manager to help our teams in Amsterdam thrive. Together with the office manager, you will make sure that our 200+ employees in Amsterdam feel happy and comfortable in our office. What you’ll do:

• Welcome visitors and make them feel at home while they wait.
• Prepare and maintain the kitchen, lunch areas, and meeting rooms.
• Prepare the salad bar everyday and set up the lunch areas on catering days (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
• Keep the dishwashers running and ensure plates, cups, and cutlery are stored correctly.
• Refill coffee machines, tea, snacks, fruit, and other office supplies.
• Receive and organise grocery deliveries.
• Keep the kitchen and common areas clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the day.
• Check and distribute incoming mail.
• Water and take care of the office plants.
• Check meeting rooms across all floors, including cleaning whiteboards and restocking glasses, cups, and water jars.
• Support the building reception when colleagues need assistance with access passes or visitors.
• Assist the Office Manager with other office-related tasks when needed.

Who we are looking for:

• You have a good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages;
• You are available to work four days per week, from Monday to Thursday.
• Your working hours are flexible, approximately 6 to 8 hours per day (24 to 32 hours per week in total).
• Previous experience in catering/restaurant/hospitality/office management or a similar environment is a plus;
• You are proactive, hands-on, and comfortable managing practical tasks independently.
• You have an eye for detail and take pride in keeping spaces clean and organised.
• You are enthusiastic, approachable, and enjoy being around people.
• Preference for having a drivers license (B)
• You are flexible and willing to support the Office Manager and your colleagues when needed.
