Job summary

Fastned, a forward-looking electric mobility company, seeks an Office Support Coordinator to help our Amsterdam team thrive. You will partner with the Office Manager to keep the 200+ staff comfortable and productive in a dynamic, informal scale-up environment near Amstel station.

You’ll work Monday to Thursday, 24–32 hours weekly with flexible daily hours, and contribute to a welcoming, well-organised office by handling catering, cleaning, mail, supplies, and visitor coordination.

Qualifications

• You have a good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain kitchen, lunch areas, and meeting rooms.
• Keep dishwashers running and store ware properly.
• Prepare salad bar and set up lunch areas on catering days.
• Refill coffee machines, tea, snacks, and office supplies.
• Receive and organise grocery deliveries.
• Keep kitchen and common areas clean and welcoming.
• Check and distribute incoming mail.
• Water and care for office plants.
• Check meeting rooms and restock glasses and water jars.
• Welcome visitors and offer refreshments; support reception access passes.

To accelerate this growth, we are looking for an Office Support Coordinator to help our teams in Amsterdam thrive. What you’ll do:

• Prepare and maintain the kitchen, lunch areas, and meeting rooms.

• Keep the dishwashers running and ensure plates, cups, and cutlery are stored correctly.

• Prepare the salad bar everyday and set up the lunch areas on catering days (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

• Refill coffee machines, tea, snacks, fruit, and other office supplies.

• Receive and organise grocery deliveries.

• Keep the kitchen and common areas clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the day.

• Check and distribute incoming mail.

• Water and take care of the office plants.

• Check meeting rooms across all floors, including cleaning whiteboards and restocking glasses, cups, and water jars.

• Welcome visitors and offer them refreshments while they wait.

• Support the building reception when colleagues need assistance with access passes or visitors.

• Assist the Office Manager with other office-related tasks when needed.

Who we are looking for:

• You have a good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages;

• You are available to work four days per week, from Monday to Thursday.

• Your working hours are flexible, approximately 6 to 8 hours per day (24 to 32 hours per week in total).

• Previous experience in catering/restaurant/hospitality/office management or a similar environment is a plus;

• You are proactive, hands-on, and comfortable managing practical tasks independently.

• You have an eye for detail and take pride in keeping spaces clean and organised.

• You are enthusiastic, approachable, and enjoy being around people.

• You are flexible and willing to support the Office Manager and your colleagues when needed.
