Nedap in Groenlo is seeking a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer to join Ons Administration, the financial and administrative hub for healthcare customers. You’ll work on a complex Java/Vue.js stack, with responsibilities spanning frontend and backend tasks and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The role supports growth, with flexible hours and a mix of on-site and remote work, based at our Groenlo campus.
Groenlo, Netherlands, 32 - 38 hrs, € 3.900 - € 4.700, Hybrid
As a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer, you will become part of a young and dynamic team working on the product Ons Administration, within the Back Office tribe of Nedap in healthcare. Ons Administration is the financial and administrative heart of healthcare organizations. Its purpose is to simplify increasingly complex administrative tasks for our customers, making healthcare administration more efficient and ultimately improving the delivery of care.
At its core, Ons Administration is responsible for registering clients, employees, delivered care, reporting, and financial and administrative integrations. The application operates at scale, has a wide reach, and serves as a data source for many other applications within and beyond Nedap in healthcare. It is a complex application with a strong mix of front-end, back-end, and integrations with other systems.
Your role as a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer is diverse, offering many opportunities to grow. You might dive into technical challenges, improve existing software, or explore how to implement changes effectively. You will gradually take ownership of parts of the application or projects. Collaboration with other teams is key, and customer visits are encouraged to better understand how our product is used in practice.
You design and implement functionalities that align with the workflows of healthcare professionals and administrative users. This often involves tackling complex challenges and working across both back-end and front-end.
You contribute to technical decision-making and help shape the design and architecture of new systems.
You collaborate with team members from different disciplines, learning from others while sharing your own insights.
You communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
You develop knowledge of the domain, your team’s products, the broader tribe, and the users of your software.
As team Financial, we are essential to our clients' healthcare and financial processes. For example, we ensure that healthcare providers can communicate with legal communication standards with, among others, health insurers and municipalities, manage healthcare credentials, and declare and invoice. We are also responsible for a number of links to external systems. The Backend is built in Java and MySQL, and the Front-End goes from JSF to Vue.js. We work with Scrum and continuously deliver software.
We work from our green campus in Groenlo, with flexibility to work from home. Some colleagues even work fully remote. At the same time, we value coming together regularly at the office, whether it’s working side by side or taking a walk together during lunch.
What's in it for you?
As a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 3.900 and € 4.700 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience.
