Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer
Groenlo, Netherlands
32–38 hrs, € 3,900 – € 4,700 per month, Hybrid
As a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer, you will become part of a young and dynamic team working on the product Ons Administration, within the Back Office tribe of Nedap in healthcare. Ons Administration is the financial and administrative heart of healthcare organizations, simplifying increasingly complex administrative tasks for our customers and ultimately improving the delivery of care.
At its core, Ons Administration registers clients, employees, delivered care, reporting, and financial and administrative integrations. It operates at scale, has a wide reach, and serves as a data source for many other applications within and beyond Nedap in healthcare. The application is a complex mix of front‑end, back‑end, and integrations with other systems.
Your role offers many opportunities to grow. You will dive into technical challenges, improve existing software, or explore how to implement changes effectively. You will gradually take ownership of parts of the application or projects. Collaboration with other teams is key, and customer visits are encouraged to better understand how our product is used in practice.
You design and implement functionalities that align with the workflows of healthcare professionals and administrative users, often tackling complex challenges across both back‑end and front‑end.
You contribute to technical decision‑making and help shape the design and architecture of new systems.
You collaborate with team members from different disciplines, learning from others while sharing your own insights.
You communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
You develop knowledge of the domain, your team’s products, the broader tribe, and the users of your software.
As team Financial, we are essential to our clients' healthcare and financial processes. We ensure that healthcare providers can communicate with legal communication standards with, among others, health insurers and municipalities, manage healthcare credentials, and declare and invoice. We are also responsible for a number of links to external systems. The Backend is built in Java and MySQL, and the Front‑End ranges from JSF to Vue.js. We work with Scrum and continuously deliver software.
We collaborate with other teams within and outside the tribe, as well as with the Product Owner, Project Lead, and Tribe Lead. Our team has a diverse mix of backgrounds in terms of age, experience, and focus.
We work from our green campus in Groenlo, with flexibility to work from home or fully remote. We value meeting regularly at the office, whether working side by side or taking a walk together during lunch.
As a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Java Engineer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 3,900 and € 4,700 gross per month based on full‑time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience.
In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.
At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.
Good to know: This role is for 32–38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap. Together with your team, you coordinate your working hours for a healthy work‑life balance. You are expected to be present at least once a week on our campus in Groenlo.
