Job summary

ORTEC Logiplan GmbH is seeking a Junior Legal, Risk & Compliance Officer to join a small team of five professionals. You will support across the organization, translating requirements into practical solutions and helping teams meet policies, certifications, and regulatory obligations.

You will work with colleagues across Europe and beyond, gaining exposure to information security, privacy, governance and ISO/SOC standards while developing in a hands-on, business-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
• Up to three years of relevant work experience, including internships or graduate positions.
• Interest in legal, risk, compliance, governance, or information security topics.
• Affinity with privacy, data protection, and corporate governance.
• Interest in frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, ISO 9001, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Interest in privacy and data protection legislation, including GDPR.
• Ambition to develop in legal, risk, compliance, privacy, and information security disciplines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Structured and detail-oriented way of working.

Responsibilities

• Support legal, risk, and compliance activities across the organization.
• Work with teams to understand and demonstrate compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Maintain policies, procedures, risk registers, compliance registers, and related documentation.
• Collect and organize evidence for audits, certifications, and customer assessments.
• Assist with risk assessments and follow up on actions and improvement initiatives.
• Support awareness campaigns, training activities, and internal communications.
• Monitor relevant legal, regulatory, and industry developments.
• Assist with reporting and management updates on legal, risk, and compliance topics.
