What will you do?

As part of CFP’s consultancy team, you will work on sustainability projects for a wide range of buildings and property portfolios, from inspection through to completion. You will visit sites, collect and analyse data, and turn your findings into reports, recommendations and action plans. You will also support certification processes, energy management and monitoring. You will work closely with your colleagues and receive training from a CFP buddy. You will report to the Head of Consultancy.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Supporting sustainability projects for buildings and property portfolios and keeping projects on schedule;
  • Carrying out site visits, inspections and analyses to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and energy savings;
  • Preparing reports and advisory documents, such as energy assessments, CO₂ analyses, sustainability reports and action plans;
  • Advising on measures relating to energy, circularity, health and building performance;
  • Helping to monitor and improve energy performance through energy management and data analysis;
  • Supporting applications for sustainability ratings and certifications, such as BREEAM, WELL and energy labels;
  • Supporting communication and knowledge sharing through workshops, training sessions and meetings with stakeholders;
  • Contributing to the development of tools, methods and project approaches within the sustainability team.

You will work with a range of corporate clients and institutions and contribute to various initiatives that help make the world a better place to live. We encourage flexible working, whether from our office in Naarden (or Apeldoorn), from home or, of course, at a client’s site.

  • A gross monthly salary of between €3,000 and €4,000, depending on your experience;
  • A company lease car (category 1), a laptop and a phone or phone allowance;
  • A 10% bonus scheme in accordance with the Business Letter;
  • The opportunity to participate financially in the company;
  • Plenty of room to develop: you shape your own career path and the opportunities that come with it. Where will you be in 10 years?

To make your working day even more enjoyable, we offer:

  • Inspiring offices, with opportunities to work wherever you feel most comfortable;
  • Lunch together at the office every day and a slice of cake to celebrate birthdays;
  • A daily walk along Naarden marina or through Apenheul in Apeldoorn as part of the routine;
  • Colleagues who enjoy challenging each other to a game of football, padel or golf;
  • Our annual sailing regatta and other events we organise, helping you get to know your colleagues and partners.

In short, there is much more to life at CFP than making buildings more sustainable!

What will you bring?
  • A degree from a university of applied sciences or a research university, for example in energy engineering, building engineering, real estate or facility management;
  • 0–2 years of work experience: you are at the start of your career;
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability and real estate, with a strong interest in both;
  • Experience in preparing analyses and reports, with an accurate approach and an eye for detail;
  • A proactive, results-oriented attitude: you take the initiative, keep track of the bigger picture and get things done;
  • A client-focused approach and good communication skills, enabling you to work easily with different stakeholders and build lasting relationships;
  • Flexibility and a solution-oriented approach: you adapt to changes within projects and are keen to develop your ability to manage them independently.

You also:

  • Are available for 40 hours per week (fewer hours can be discussed);
  • Hold a driving licence, as you will also travel to client sites;
  • Live in the Randstad region;
