Churned in Amsterdam is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our product and data team. You will help build data infrastructure powering our predictive and prescriptive AI engine and work closely with Data Scientists.

The role focuses on data pipelines, integrations with client systems, and deploying production-grade data solutions on GCP. You will collaborate with a growing team, own parts of the data platform, and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment next to Amstel Station.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.
• About 2 years of experience as Data/Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on with Git, Docker and REST APIs.
• Experience building data pipelines in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Apache Spark is a plus.
• Proactive, independent, ownership mindset.
• Fluent in English.
• Living in/near Amsterdam within 30 minutes of Amstel Station.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain integrations with client systems (CRM, billing, marketing).
• Develop and optimize the data platform and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy models in production.
• Structure and model data for analytics and reporting.
• Improve in-house data processing on Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor data quality and pipeline performance; fix issues promptly.
