Amsterdam Data Collective invites a GenAI Engineer to join its Technology & Innovation team, applying state-of-the-art GenAI, Python, cloud platforms, and MLOps to build scalable AI solutions. You’ll collaborate with consultants, data engineers, and AI specialists to deliver impact-driven results, own end-to-end pipelines, and help clients translate strategy into technical execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on data science and AI experience, ideally in client-facing consulting or project work
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (AI, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, CS, Engineering)
• Strong GenAI knowledge (LLMs, embeddings, vector search, RAG, agentic patterns) and practical judgment
• Stay current with fast-moving tools, and share learnings with the team
• Proficiency in Python with GenAI/LLM development and frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex); cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) is a plus
• Fluency in English; Dutch a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement state-of-the-art data and GenAI applications at scale
• Develop and deploy data science solutions using Python, Docker, and cloud platforms
• Develop and implement custom AI systems for clients (agentic workflows, RAG-based systems)
• Design end-to-end AI pipelines for scalability, efficiency, and long-term impact
• Monitor models to manage drift and retraining needs
• Bridge business strategy and technical execution with stakeholders
• Stay ahead with ML Ops, GenAI, and cloud technologies
