Job summary

Salute is a global leader in delivering Data Center services, expanding in Europe. We are hiring a Junior Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our operations and help maintain critical facilities.

You will monitor and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, respond to incidents, and work with Site Manager and technicians. This full-time role includes night shifts on a 3-shift pattern and offers training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating and maintaining building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety.
• Educational background as stated: high school diploma or college degree.
• Good observation skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance tasks requiring multiple trades.
• Conduct periodic inspections of HVAC, electrical distribution, and equipment rooms.
• Rapidly respond to indoor emergencies and air quality concerns.
• Create, close and track work requests; initiate and verify completion.
• Monitor contractor performance and suggest improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
