Job summary

TGS International Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Data Centre Engineer to support a major DC project on-site. This hands-on, client-facing role offers ongoing training, paid overtime, and clear progression opportunities. Optional Europe travel with all travel and accommodation covered.

You will install and terminate structured cabling, rack and stack servers and hardware, and liaise with the client on site to ensure seamless updates and professional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data centre, cabling-biased preferred.
• Structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pulling.
• Solid hardware experience required.
• Excellent communication for client-facing role (English).
• Able to perform physical work, lifting heavy equipment.
• Able to work a continental shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling to a high standard.
• Rack and stack servers, switches and network hardware.
• Cable pulling, dressing, and containment.
• Hardware installation, decommissioning and fault resolution.
• Liaise with the client on site and provide updates.
