Job summary

DOUXE Hotel Luxury in The Hague is seeking a Junior Customer Experience Specialist for 24-32 hours per week. You act as a key contact by phone, email and chat, process orders, handle returns, and support the concept store when busy.

You ensure every interaction reflects the brand's refined luxury. Fluent Dutch and English, friendly and accurate, you thrive in a small, ambitious team at a harbour-side workplace.

Qualifications

• Service-oriented, presentable and enjoy working with people.
• MBO level 4 or HBO programme completed.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a commercial environment is preferred.
• Proficient Dutch and English communication.

DOUXE Hotel Luxury is the world's first hotel lifestyle brand. Originating in the Netherlands, with an international signature.

We design and produce refined bed, bath and spa collections for the most beautiful 4- and 5-star hotels worldwide, as well as for consumers who wish to bring the ultimate hotel feeling home. DOUXE has since become an established name in the world of high-end hotel products, in hospitality as well as in private interiors.

In 2020 DOUXE opened its first Hotel Lifestyle Concept Store in The Hague. An iconic setting where the five-star hotel feeling becomes tangible: from Egyptian cotton bed linen to complete hotel bed concepts, as used by, among others, Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam and Hotel Okura.

For our further growth we are looking for a Junior Customer Experience Specialist who offers our customers an exceptional experience and at the same time wants to grow with an ambitious, international luxury brand.

The role

24-32 hours per week (Wednesday (Thursday), Friday, Saturday)

Are you hospitable, accurate and energised by satisfied customers?

As a Junior Customer Experience Specialist you are an important point of contact within DOUXE. You help customers by telephone, email, returns and chat, process orders and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

You guide customers through their purchase process and make sure every interaction feels like an extension of the world of DOUXE. You also help out in our concept store where needed when it is busy, and contribute to the high-quality service DOUXE stands for.

You mainly work on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. With a 32-hour contract you also work on Thursdays.

What will you do?

• Answering customer questions by telephone, email and chat
• Processing and following up orders from order to delivery
• Processing and keeping track of returns
• Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers and logistics partners
• Supporting stock management and administrative work
• Ensuring a smooth and personal customer experience throughout the entire customer journey
• Helping out in the concept store when it is busy, welcoming and advising customers
• Supporting daily operational work
• Contributing ideas on how we can make our service a little better every day

Your profile

• You are service-oriented, presentable and enjoy working with people
• You have completed an MBO level 4 or HBO programme (Dutch vocational or applied-sciences education)
• You preferably have some experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a commercial environment
• You communicate easily and professionally in Dutch and English
• You work accurately and are organisationally strong
• You are proactive, eager to learn and take responsibility
• You enjoy combining varied administrative work with customer contact
