Job summary

Katanox is hiring an early-career Software Engineer for the Connectivity team in Amsterdam. You will join the Connectivity team, owning small pieces end to end from your first weeks and growing into an integration owner.

You will work on hotel connectivity, rate and availability mapping, and the contracting flow that governs which buyer can sell which hotel on which terms. In this role you will pair with senior engineers, ship production-ready code, and build reliable systems that handle complex

Qualifications

• Around zero to two years of professional experience, or a strong internship and side-project record.
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, testing, and basic system design.
• Working knowledge of Kotlin or Java, or another typed language with interest in Kotlin.
• Comfort reading others' API documentation and code; handle edge cases in connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend integrations with hotel systems and our marketplace, mapping availability, rates, and reservations in Kotlin with tests.
• Ship changes to the public API used by travel buyers to search and book.
• Work with real third-party APIs, managing retries and rate limits, and keep complexity out of the platform.
• Own your services in production: diagnose rate or booking failures, fix root causes, and improve monitoring.
