Job summary

Katanox in Amsterdam is hiring an early-career Software Engineer for the Connectivity team, joining our Amsterdam hub to build reliable B2B integrations and services.

You will own small end-to-end pieces from the first weeks, pair with senior engineers, and grow into owning a broader integration or API area, with a focus on data integrity, security, and operational excellence. We emphasize in-person collaboration in hub culture and building with real money systems.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience or a strong internship and side-project record.
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, testing, and basic system design.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java; interest in Kotlin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend integrations with hotel systems and the public API.
• Ship changes to the public API used by travel buyers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, own small end-to-end pieces from early on.
• Monitor production and troubleshoot rate or booking issues when they arise.
