Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially MS Dynamics, and strong data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process approved purchase requisitions and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs) in MS Dynamics, ensuring contracts and terms are followed.
• Monitor delivery status, track deliveries against need dates, and expedite orders as needed; communicate with suppliers on schedules and documentation.
• Resolve basic operational issues such as invoice discrepancies and minor delivery delays; escalate complex issues to the Procurement Specialist.

Role

This role is the transactional engine of the procurement team. Its purpose is to execute the day-to-day purchasing process with speed, accuracy, and compliance. This individual is responsible for converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to support our operations.

The Purchasers core mission is to efficiently and accurately execute the operational Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. They are mandated to process purchase requisitions, create and manage purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and resolve routine operational issues with suppliers, all in strict adherence to established contracts and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Management:
  • Process approved purchase requisitions and MRP proposes into accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in MS Dynamics, ensuring adherence to negotiated contracts and terms.
  • Obtain timely PO confirmations from suppliers and maintain accurate data in the ERP system.
• Delivery Assurance:
  • Monitor open order status, track deliveries against need dates, and proactively expedite orders as required.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers regarding routine operational matters (delivery schedules, quantities, shipping documentation).
• Operational Issue Resolution:
  • Resolve basic operational issues, such as invoice discrepancies (matching PO/Receipt/Invoice), minor delivery delays, or documentation queries.
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to the Procurement Specialist.

• Degree in a related field.
• Experience of 1-3 years in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• High proficiency and accuracy in using ERP systems (MS Dynamics essential);
• A detail-oriented "Executor" who thrives on process, accuracy, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time. Be able to follow instruction from the Procurement Country lead.
