Job summary

Macrogen Europe BV in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Billing Assistant to join our finance team. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with ASAP start and is based at our Amsterdam office.

You will support billing operations across the EU and Africa, ensuring accurate invoices and timely processing. Key duties include assisting with monthly closings, resolving invoice issues including VAT questions, and monitoring overdue payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in business/finance or related field.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changes and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Issuing invoices, prepayments, credits for EU and Africa territory.
• Handling monthly closing sales activities.
• Resolving invoice issues including VAT information and coordinating with customers.
• Reporting sales figures and forecasts to upper management.
• Monitoring overdue payments and coordinating debt payoffs.
• Updating invoicing and collection status weekly and monthly.
