Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking a Lead Billing Coordinator to drive end-to-end billing across Europe from Amsterdam. You will lead the Billing team, ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time, and collaborate with Contract Owners, Finance & Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, contract administration, or project finance.
• Experience leading a billing/finance team.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end billing processes and month-end.
• Experience with senior stakeholders, including Partners and Finance & Operations.
• Ability to review billing information for accuracy.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing process improvements.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations.
• Experience with D365 and e-billing platforms is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.
• High discretion and confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel to European offices.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support Billing Coordinators across Europe.
• Oversee end-to-end monthly billing and issue invoices on time.
• Collaborate with Contract Owners, Billing Coordinators and Finance & Operations.
• Align billing with monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
• Review and validate billing information for consistency with contracts.
• Setup and maintain contracts, opportunities and projects in D365.
• Process related billing activities, including credit notes and PO requirements.
• Act as principal billing contact for stakeholders.
• Monitor billing performance and reporting to management.
• Ensure records and documentation are maintained per policy.
• Support and develop the Billing team with guidance and training.
• Identify improvements to billing processes and controls.
