Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Allocation, Merchandise Planning or similar analytical retail role.

Are you passionate about retail, planning, and using data to drive commercial decisions? We're looking for an Allocator to join a retail team in the Amsterdam area. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the right products are available in the right locations at the right time, helping to maximize sales opportunities and optimize inventory levels across the business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders, to monitor stock performance, analyze sales trends, and make allocation and replenishment decisions. This is a highly analytical position that requires strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

• Experience in Allocation, Merchandise Planning, Buying, Retail Planning, or a similar analytical retail role
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting tools is advantageous
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Experience within retail, fashion, FMCG, consumer goods, or a similar industry is preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
