Job summary

Action in the Netherlands is seeking a Supply Allocator to join the Supply Planning team. You will create and optimize allocation plans, manage stock flows between distribution centers and stores, and support promotions and seasonal uplifts to ensure smooth product availability.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience in a retail supply chain environment, with strong Excel skills and fluent English. Dutch is a plus.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a retail supply chain planning role.
• Strong retail affinity and excellent Excel skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize allocation plans for multiple inflow types using data from various teams.
• Support smooth assortment phase-in and phase-out, translating commercial plans into stock flows.
• Manage time-critical and urgent flows, such as promotions and seasonal uplifts.
• Control planning timelines and deadlines for pushes and inflows across categories.
• Collaborate with Planning and Supply Chain teams to improve processes with clear KPIs.

Supply Allocator Parttime or Fulltime (32 - 38 hours per week)

Ready to make a real impact on how our stores are supplied? Join Action’s Supply Planning team and play a key role in keeping our stock moving between our distribution centers and stores as our new Supply Chain Allocator.
The main purpose of the Supply Chain Allocator is to create, maintain, monitor and guard all stock allocations towards our stores, based upon the commercially planned moments for new articles, promotions and seasonal assortment.

This is your daily action

• Create and optimize allocation plans for multiple inflow types, using data from Assortment, Promo, and Commercial teams and working with the Symphony Replenishment and Allocation platform.
• Support smooth assortment phase-in and phase-out, translating commercial plans into efficient stock flows.
• Manage time-critical and urgent flows, such as promotions, new articles and seasonal uplifts
• Control planning timelines and deadlines for pushes and inflow across all categories and commercial seasons.
• Collaborate with our Planning and Supply Chain teams to continuously improve processes, ensuring high-quality execution supported by clear KPIs and milestones.

The allocation team (4) is part of our 60-strong Supply Planning team. With a global scope, a highly dynamic product range and a growing number of distribution centers, stores, hubs and cross-docks, you will face exciting challenges day in, day out.

This is you

You have a proactive attitude and your strong interpersonal skills allow you to communicate efficiently with stakeholders.
In addition:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Retail)
• You have at least 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in a supply chain (planning) function within a retail environment
• You have a strong retail affinity and excellent Excel skills
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal, with Dutch being a plus
• You have strong organizational skills and the ability to structure activities while sticking to agreed deadlines and guidelines
