Job summary

Loyens & Loeff is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join the AI Solutions Team in Amsterdam. You will help manage, optimise, and roll out AI solutions across the firm, collaborating with users and stakeholders to guarantee value and practicality.

You will work across legal practice groups and business support, translating needs into concrete improvements. The role offers hybrid working and strong development opportunities within a leading international firm.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in technology, innovation and practical AI applications.
• Affinity with AI tools, workflow design, or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Passion for working with users and supporting colleagues in adopting new technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate user needs into practical solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with legal practice groups and business teams to identify opportunities for new AI applications and improvements.
• Support the configuration, management, and optimisation of AI tools, workflows, and AI environments.
• Support the translation of user needs and business challenges into practical improvement proposals and potential solutions.
• Execute testing activities and support pilots, proofs of concept, and the introduction of new AI capabilities.
• Collect user feedback and usage insights and translate them into concrete improvements.
• Support adoption by developing documentation, user guides, demonstrations, and training materials.
• Monitor the use and performance of AI solutions and collaborate with engineers, IT colleagues, and vendors to drive continuous improvement.
