Schuberg Philis in the Netherlands is seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to design, build, and run mission-critical Java-based microservices and APIs for a banking customer. You will work within a DevOps team to ensure reliability, security, and scalable delivery across the full software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have strong Java experience (Java 17+), Spring Boot, and a track record of production-grade microservices, CI/CD, and collaboration with architects and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Proven Java development experience, ideally Java 17+.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in building production-grade microservices.
• Strong testing, CI/CD, and DevOps collaboration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and run Java-based micro-services and APIs that support banking processes
• End-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment and operations
• Collaborate with DevOps teams, architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions
• Improve engineering practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring
• Keep production stable with focus on reliability, security, observability, incident prevention
• Stay up to date with modern engineering practices and contribute ideas
