Job summary

CSG Benelux is seeking an IT Support & Systems Administrator to keep colleagues productive and business moving. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT issues, manage our workplace environment, and collaborate with external partners across Belgium and the Netherlands.

You will administer Microsoft 365, support security governance, and contribute to ongoing IT improvements to enable customs specialists to focus on international trade.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or workplace management.
• Deep knowledge of Windows client/server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange/Teams/SharePoint/Intune).
• Structured, customer-focused approach and strong communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise helpdesk tickets with timely, high-quality resolutions.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, workplace and network issues.
• Deliver end-user training and guidance to improve digital skills.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, workstations and peripherals across Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and manage user licenses and access.
• Support security governance, data protection, and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with external IT partners and drive continuous improvement.

At Customs Support, hundreds of colleagues rely on stable and secure IT systems every day. From Microsoft 365 and workplace technology to hardware, networks, and business applications, you ensure everything runs smoothly.

As our IT Support & Systems Administrator, you are the first point of contact for IT-related questions and issues. But this role goes beyond support. You will help manage our workplace environment, collaborate with external IT partners, support users across multiple locations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT landscape.

By doing so, you enable our customs specialists to focus on what they do best: facilitating international trade.

User Support & Operations

• Manage and prioritise helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, workplace and network-related issues
• Deliver end-user training and guidance to improve digital skills and self-sufficiency
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, workstations and peripheral devices across locations in Belgium and the Netherlands

Microsoft 365 & Systems Administration

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Intune
• Manage user accounts, licenses, device enrolment and access rights
• Perform routine updates, patch management, backups and system health checks
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and user guides

Security & Governance

• Safeguard data security, confidentiality and compliance with company policies
• Support endpoint security, device compliance and access management
• Promote security awareness and best practices across the organisation
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and standards

Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with external IT and software vendors
• Identify opportunities to improve IT services, systems and processes
• Provide recommendations on emerging technologies and innovations that support business growth

Who are you?

You Bring

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or workplace management
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
• A structured, customer-focused approach to your work
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English

Nice To Have

• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a pre
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a pre
• Knowledge of IT security and endpoint management is a pre
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is a pre
• A structured, customer-focused approach to your work
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
