Job summary

Mobilize Financial Services NL is seeking an IT Specialist to maintain and improve the reliability, performance, security, and efficiency of local IT systems and business applications that support daily operations. You will work with business teams, external vendors, and international IT stakeholders to ensure continuity of critical processes and successful IT project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in application management, systems administration, software development, or IT operations.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge and query optimization.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Some development experience in C# and API integrations.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of local systems and applications.
• Monitor production indicators, operational KPIs, and service quality metrics.
• Define and implement corrective actions and remediation plans when required.
• Support compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including ECB-related controls and corporate security standards.
• Coordinate technical projects and enhancements from initiation through production deployment.
• Manage planning, testing, risk assessment, implementation, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Act as the primary technical contact for business departments requesting IT support for new initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, automation, reliability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to the evolution of local applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation are maintained for all supported systems.

The IT Specialist is part of the Information Systems Department and reports directly to the IT Director.

The position

As an IT Specialist, you will play a key role within the Information Systems Department, reporting directly to the IT Director. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, security, and efficiency of local IT systems and business applications that support our daily operations.

You will work closely with business teams, external vendors, and international IT stakeholders to ensure the continuity of critical business processes, drive technical improvements, and successfully deliver IT projects.

This is a hands-on role that combines application management, infrastructure coordination, data integration, reporting, security compliance, and project delivery.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an IT professional with approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in application management, systems administration, software development, or IT operations.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Good administration-level knowledge of Windows Server
• Some development experience in C# or similar programming language, including API integrations and web services
• Knowledge of scripting, automation, and DevOps practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Cloud experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with cloud architectures, virtual machines and networking
• Exposure to financial and leasing applications such as Sofico Miles, Exact Globe, and Exact Synergy
• Experience with system integrations and middleware solutions
