Job summary

Royal IHC is seeking a Project Manager IT to convert business needs into well-structured IT projects. You will manage a portfolio of medium-sized initiatives across applications, integrations, and lifecycle management, delivering tangible improvements to the business.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams to define scope, schedule, budgets and resources, and drive governance, risk management, and continuous portfolio improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Business or a related field.
• Relevant project management experience at a suitable level.
• Experience with application, integration, or system improvement projects.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and keep priorities clear.
• Clear communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused in a changing environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; NATO nationality as required.

Responsibilities

• Turn business needs into clear, well-structured IT projects.
• Define scope, activities, planning, budget, deliverables, and resources with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to keep delivery moving.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Navigate changes in scope and priorities without losing end results.
• Provide steering information on progress, risks, budget, and outcomes.
• Improve project governance, documentation, and handover.
• Support portfolio management improvements and business case preparation.
