A2G Consulting BV (A2G Technologies) in Amsterdam seeks an experienced IT Platform Engineer with strong Python and Azure Cloud expertise to join our engineering team. The role covers the full software development lifecycle — from planning and solution design to development, testing, CI/CD, and automated deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OOP.
• Software analysis, design, and architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Access Management / Identity.
• Networking.
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience with incremental software development practices.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles & Design Patterns.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Data Governance.
• Knowledge of Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Experience with pytest and mocking frameworks.
• Azure Cosmos DB experience is a plus.

Job description

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

We are looking for an experienced IT Platform Engineer with strong Python and Azure Cloud expertise to join our engineering team in Amsterdam.
