As our IT Engineer, you support our team, implement key applications, and maintain our vital internal infrastructure. You handle everything from day-to-day workplace setup to overarching system maintenance alongside the broader business. You report directly to the Head of IT, collaborating closely with all internal colleagues and external suppliers to keep our operations running smoothly. Your work ensures our team has the digital tools they need to protect people and wildlife.

What you'll do
  • Act as the first, second, and third line of support for applications and infrastructure.

  • Help colleagues with hardware and setups, covering monitors, laptops, phones, and door tags.

  • Onboarding, offboarding, and technical upgrades: Lead the IT onboarding and offboarding processes for our growing crew.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components for end-users.

  • Ensure our internal IT infrastructure functions properly and address any technical problems promptly.

  • Perform regular system maintenance together with different business units.

  • Actively propose smart improvements or opportunities to help our organization mature.

  • Documentation, security, and knowledge transfer.

What you bring
  • BA or HBO level degree in IT Engineering or a relevant field.

  • Over 2 years of practical IT support or engineering experience.

  • Good troubleshooting skills alongside strong analytical capabilities.

  • Basic general knowledge of software, hardware, and networks.

  • Experience working within an international or multi-cultural environment is a great plus.

  • Fluency in English, while a basic level in Dutch is an asset.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse backgrounds.

  • A true team player who also thrives when working independently.

If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

Note: A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.

What we offer
  • Working for a Great Place to Work certified company.

  • Comprehensive pension plan.

  • Commuting allowance - the team works at the office 4x a week.

  • 30 days of paid holiday leave (with the possibility to buy 3 additional days).
