Job description

Your impact: You will be the strategic bridge who translates business needs into reliable IT solutions. Together with a skilled team of 3 IT Engineers, you will plan and set the future tracks of our IT infrastructure and collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and reviewing of OKRs.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development and skill building.
• Plan, delegate and prioritize our general IT workload.
• Liaise issues with large impact with team members, departments & stakeholders.
• Keep a good overview of our automations and make sure information is well documented.
• Support & plan the rollout of new tools, devices, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption by our end‑users.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet organizational needs and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and capable of translating between business and technical language.
• At least 5+ years of experience within IT and 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Solid coordination, communication and crisis management skills.
• Good understanding of common Security & Compliance practices.
• Experience with project and service management, and structuring/restructuring teams.

Bonus Points

• Experience with GitHub, HubSpot, 1Password, JumpCloud, Google Cloud / Workspace, Torii.
• Experience with Linux, iOS, Android, scripting languages (PowerShell / Bash).
• Relevant certifications or proven track records.

Other Requirements / Practical Expectations

• Available for at least 32 hours per week.
• Willing to work at the Utrecht office two days per week.
• Valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship.
• Residing in or close to Utrecht or willing to relocate in the Netherlands.
